Centre for Research on Children and Families
The Centre for Research on Children and Families aims to conduct and disseminate research of the highest international quality that promotes understanding of the underpinnings of well-being among children and families. The Centre serves as an interdisciplinary forum for researchers, practitioners, policy makers and educators with basic and applied interests in advancing knowledge about children, families and the contexts within which they live.

Children’s Society
The Children's Society (UK) commissioned The Good Childhood Inquiry in 2006 to research and renew society's understanding of childhood. The report and its findings can be found on the Children's Society website.

Green paper for vulnerable children
The 2011 Green Paper is a discussion document that outlines a number of ideas about what the Government could do to improve outcomes for vulnerable children in New Zealand. Comments and submissions are invited before 28 February 2012.

Skylight
Skylight is a charitable trust providing specialised grief support for New Zealand children, young people, adults and their families who are facing change, loss and grief issues.

The children’s social health monitor
In response to deteriorating economic conditions in New Zealand and Australia in the late 2000s, a Working Group of health professionals from a range of organisations with an interest in child health was formed in early 2009. Over the course of the year, this Working Group discussed the conceptualisation of an indicator set which could be used to monitor the impact of the recession on child wellbeing, the range of indicators which might be included, and the criteria by which these indicators should be selected.

The Werry Centre for Child and Adolescent Mental Health
The Centre's aims include: providing training of a high quality to mental health professionals; promoting research in child and adolescent mental health; advocating for mental health needs of children and adolescents in New Zealand; and supporting the child and adolescent mental health workforce nationally.
