What are the Media Grants?

The Mental Health Foundation, in association with the Ministry of Health's Like Minds, Like Mine Programme, established The New Zealand Mental Health Media Grants in 2006, following the success of The Rosalynn Carter Fellowships for Mental Health Journalism New Zealand from 2001 - 2005.

The aim of the Media Grants is to help reduce stigma and discrimination by informing the public about mental health issues and experiences through projects that have a journalistic or creative focus.
