The mission of Balance NZ is to provide support, education, advocacy and training to people (tangata whai ora) affected by bipolar disorder or depression in New Zealand.

Franklin Bipolar & Depression Support Group

Our peer-led group provides the opportunity to meet with other people who understand because we share similar experiences. We are men and women, parents, partners and loved ones seeking to gain information and understanding about our personal situations or that of a friend, family member or loved one. Yes! Friends, family and whanau are also welcome. At our non-clinical meetings we talk, listen to each other, have fun, and provide a variety of useful information. We offer proven wellness tools for recovery.

Pukekohe Methodist Church Hall, Cnr Wesley & Queen Sts, PUKEKOHE, on 1st and 3rd Monday evening of each month (except January, when 3rd Monday only) starting at 7.30pm

If you have depression or a mood disorder it is not your fault. It can happen to anyone and need not define who you are as a person. There is HOPE and help is at hand.
